12th Annual CCABC Crawfish Boil

It's that time of the year for our 12th Annual CCABC Crawfish Boil, scheduled for Friday May 10th. If you haven't had Tim Zaunbrecher and Zaunbrecher Farms crawfish, you are certainly in for a treat! Each year they seem to be getting better and better, if that's even possible.

If you are "new" to CCS, let me introduce you to our fundraiser that raises money for CCS athletics and what we provide. We provide support to our athletic department in ways that allow us to help with purchasing the necessary equipment for all sports so that our boys and girls can play their particular sport safely and effectively. We will soon share pictures of what we were able to accomplish this year with your help.

Crawfish (3lbs with corn and potatoes) will sell for $20 each. Pickup will be in our car line on Versailles (3-6pm). As a reminder....ALL athletic families are required to sell (5) CCABC Crawfish Boil tickets per family. eTickets with a QR code will be sent to your email address once orders are placed. This will be your ticket that will be scanned when you pick up your order(s) on May 10th.

As always, THANK YOU for your support and please access the link below to purchase your tickets. Questions? Please contact Kevin Decuir at [email protected].

SOLA Giving Day

Every year, the CCS Foundation participates in SOLA Giving Day which aims to highlight and support the incredible work of the nonprofits, churches, and schools that strengthen our South Louisiana region. SOLA Giving Day is on May 2nd and early giving has begun! Your generosity helps us continue supporting students in Catholic education through the Cathedral-Carmel Foundation Tuition Fund.

Each dollar donated assists in awarding annual merit-based tuition scholarships to students who deserve to be rewarded for 1) attending CCS since PreK and enrolled for 8th grade 2) school leadership involvement in campus life and spirituality 3) academic excellence 4) positive influence on peers and 5) willingness to serve and help others.

Thank you for your ongoing support of Catholic education and our future leaders of tomorrow! Together, we can make a difference in the lives of students at Cathedral-Carmel School. Access the link below to donate.

We Are On A Quest for Coins!

CCS is excited to participate in helping raise funds for Miles Perret Cancer Services and will be rolling out our campaign on Thursday, April 25th. The CHANGE FOR MILES service project was designed specifically for students. The goal is to collect loose change in the Change for Miles bottles provided. It is an easy and fun way to raise money while, in turn, making a direct impact on the lives of local families who are fighting, surviving, and living with cancer. Our campaign will begin on April 25th and end on Friday, May 3rd. When your bottles come home, we ask that you help in making it a fun project for your children. Together....we can make CHANGE happen! See links below for more information.
