Fall Terrific Tigers Honored

Twice a year faculty members nominate middle school students who they consider to possess a genuinely good heart...who serve as "Christ centered" role models. Our Fall Terrific Tigers were honored at a special recognition breakfast on Friday and their parents were invited to attend. Each student is called forward and presented with a Cathedral-Carmel Tigers Cup filled with goodies, along with a Terrific Tiger Pin and a certificate. Mrs. Aillet reads the words of affirmation written by the faculty member (who remains anonymous) to each student as their peers and family watch. They also receive a certificate with those same words printed inside. Many thanks to Mr. EJ Krampe who always generously donates McDonalds biscuits for this occasion. Congratulations to our fall recipients!

We are extremely grateful to our parents, grandparents, alumni, and friends and the generous contributions given to benefit the CCS Historic Preservation efforts. Open the link below to view the Preservation Donor Society List as of November.

We are within reach of our campaign goal … only $350,000 left to raise! We anticipate celebrating a Mass of Thanksgiving and the newly restored buildings in November 2025. The reputation of CCS is one of academic excellence, strong Roman Catholic identity, and ongoing vitality and growth. We are forever grateful to you and others who have made CCS what it is today! On behalf of our faculty and students, and those who will one day walk these halls, thank you!

The Counseling Corner

Please read our latest Counseling Corner newsletter which is entitled Anxiety Part 2. Previous newsletter links from our middle school counselors are also shown below. All links reside on our website under the Parent Hub and will remain there through the end of the school year. We encourage all middle school parents to read the Counseling Corner articles as you receive them and share with others, if you wish. Working together, we will continue to strive to meet today's middle school student concerns and needs.
