Cathedral-Carmel Foundation Endowment Grants Awarded

We take this opportunity to recognize (3) Named Endowment grants recently awarded by the Cathedral-Carmel Foundation.

Named Endowments are a reliable source of perpetual income creating a lasting legacy. Currently, (10) named endowment funds have been created through the foundation to annually award students, teachers, and the school grants and scholarships to assist with either Tuition Assistance, Teacher Resources, or Campus Improvements.

The Robyn & Phil Boudreaux Endowment Fund, (who are current CCS Grandparents) was established over (4) years ago because they wanted to give back to Catholic education in a meaningful way. With many of their family members being educators, they chose to focus on teacher resources and loved the idea of providing a CCS teacher with an annual grant to assist with purchasing materials needed to further instruction and offer students interactive and effective ways of learning. Mrs. Meghan Trahan, one of the PreK teachers, is the recipient this year and plans to use the Robyn & Phil Boudreaux grant to purchase a range of science enrichment materials designed for young learners, including weather observation tools, life cycle kits, and child-friendly models of the human body.

CCS is always looking to improve and beautify the aging facilities on campus. Both the Dr. & Mrs. Elmo Laborde Endowment Fund and the Monica & Tony Carroll Family Endowment Fund were created a few years ago and has proudly awarded the school over $18,000 in grants to assist with campus improvements.
